Eligibility Criteria (Detailed)

Before applying and paying the ₹1,350 fee, verify your eligibility. VIT is strict about age limits.

1. Age Limit

Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2004 are eligible. If you are even one day older, your admission will be cancelled during document verification.

2. Academic Qualification

You must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in Class 12 (or equivalent).

Note: For SC/ST candidates and residents of Jammu & Kashmir and the North Eastern states, the minimum requirement is relaxed to 50%.

  3. Academic Details: Enter your Class 10 and Class 12 marks (if available). If you are appearing for 12th in 2026, select "Appearing."
